Dominic ‘Dom’ Kilburn and Willa Ransome have a troubled past. In the first book, Dom and Willa are going to be married when Dom panics and leaves Willa at the altar.

Fast forward to A Rogue’s Rules for Seduction, in which a house party invite to an isolated island manor leaves Willa, her two brother’s Kieran and Fin, their wives, and Dom (among other house guests and the host) trapped. Dom and Willa must face each other and take advantage of the second chance.

This is a slow-burn, second chance romance between two individuals that never knew the real-versions of themselves when they were engaged. Dom treated Willa like a delicate princess while Willa treated Dom like a pet wolf on a leash. However, this house party gives them the chance to get to see the true version of themselves.

There are some beautiful scenes such as a shuttlecock competition, a mountain hike, and even a rowdy theatre production. I loved every scene between Willa and Dom, especially when they begin to forgive themselves and each other. The spice of this romance is amazing! It is a slow burn only until it isn’t. If you enjoy spice you will enjoy the eventual smut between these two.

I loved the outrageous house party antics, Willa’s brother’s Kieran and Fin’s relationship with Dom, the sparks between Dom and Willa, and the eventually sex between these two was delicious.

*Explicit Sex scenes.

This cover is beautiful. It is also very stereotypical of the historical romance genre. A man (half-naked) in a close embrace with a beautiful woman in a pink dress. There is a scene in which Willa is wearing a green dress, one that drives Dom crazy. I was sad that the colour pink was chosen for the model. Even with that discrepancy, the cover is beautiful.
